As you go through your training with the Squadron you will earn points towards a BTec qualification.

The Air Cadets is one of only a few youth organisations that offer you a nationally recognised qualification during the course of your training.

What is a BTec?

A BTec is a national award, which is equivalent to a GNVQ level II or is roughly the GCSE standard, grade A-C. a BTec can also count towards your points requirement for university places.

It is recognised by most employers.

The RAF acknowledges it as a science qualification.
